When Turn: Washington’s Spies season 4 episode 7 airs on AMC next week, what we’re going to see is a little bit of chaos. Everyone has their own priority, and at this point, we’re in really deep with all of these various stories.
So where will the story be going as we get into this episode? Well, let’s just say that we’re going to see many different plans start to come together, but an issue of priority could make them all fall apart.
Turn: Washington’s Spies season 4 episode 7 synopsis – “Ben’s plan to kidnap Benedict Arnold conflicts with Abe’s plot to kill Simcoe; and shifting loyalties turn old enemies into allies.”
So which one of these plans is more important? There’s a good chance that you end up seeing them in a position where they have to chose to eliminate either the perceived traitor, or the perceived head of the snake instead. Ironically, this story is happening just one episode after Simcoe nearly found himself dead in a rather surprising fashion. Yet, at the same time this was a way to learn a good bit about him as a character.
So what’s coming next with Peggy?
This is, at present, what we’re the most curious about given that she is suddenly the ace in the hole for any anti-Arnold — she knows thanks to Cicero what’s going on there, and she’s all for stopping her husband Benedict. She may be a key to finding out his location or staging things in a way that he gets captured. One of her big advantages is that her husband is so terrible that he thinks nothing of her — he just imagines that she is a tool that he can use in order to ensure that he has children, and that he is of a decent spot in society. Let’s just say that he’s going to be in for a very rude awakening when he starts to figure out the truth in that department! (It’s going to be so satisfying.)
There are only a small handful of episodes to go, so in theory, every episode from here on out is probably going to be dramatic, eventful, and stuffed full of twists. It’s best to get ready for some of the craziness now…
